Advanced Care Coordination Advocate
We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Care Coordination Advocate (ACCA) to join the Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center. This full-time, non-exempt position focuses on providing trauma-informed care coordination for children at high risk of, or confirmed as, victims of commercial sexual exploitation or abuse. The ACCA serves as the primary advocate within our multidisciplinary team (MDT), developing individualized service plans, facilitating seamless referrals, and ensuring holistic support for children and families. Key responsibilities include crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, data tracking, and collaboration with community partners. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in case management, advocacy, or related human services. Advanced training and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices are highly desirable. Licensed Mental Health Therapist
The Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center is searching for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. Therapists work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and provide individual, family, and group services to abused and traumatized children. Clinical Intern – Graduate Level
The Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center is now accepting applications from graduate-level students seeking practicum or internship opportunities. Clinical Interns report to and are supervised by the Clinical Director, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Clinical Interns receive specialized training before providing services and will receive weekly individual supervision, as well as group supervision. After completing training, Clinical Interns may complete intake sessions, administer assessments to families who have been impacted by abuse and trauma, assist with treatment group facilitation, and may receive individual therapy clients. Clinical Interns may also perform reception duties and provide administrative support to the Mental Health Department. Clinical Intern – Undergraduate Level
The Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center is accepting applications for bachelor-level students seeking internship opportunities. Clinical Interns report to and are supervised by the Clinical Director, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Clinical Interns receive specialized training and receive weekly individual supervision. Group supervision attendance is optional. Undergraduate-level Clinical Interns welcome families to the therapy center, perform reception duties, and provide administrative support to the Mental Health Department. Clinical Interns may also observe sessions and assist with group facilitation. Mental Health Department Volunteer
The Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center seeks volunteers to support children and families receiving therapy services. Mental Health Department volunteers report directly to the Clinical Director, and following orientation and training, will assist with front desk reception, general administrative duties, and special events.
